I went to Rose after 2 years of not being able to lift my arm above my head, after a horse riding accident. Rose explained all available treatments and the benefits, and we came with a plan that I can manage, and now after 7 months of treatment and home exercise, I can lift plates and put them away in the cupboard. I cannot recommend Rose highly enough.

Louise has done a fantastic job of getting me back in action following a skiing fall earlier this year as well as significantly reducing other muscular pain.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Rose Carnegie for both Osteopathy and 1-1 Pilates. Rose is an exceptional Osteopath! - highly competent and professional, with a friendly approach; she seeks to really understand your issues and provide treatment/solutions to solve them. With Pilates, Rose is again highly competent, challenging, positive and motivational. Additionally, Therapy & Fitness West Malling is a very well run practice. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending both Rose Carnegie and Therapy & Fitness West Malling

Very friendly and professional with follow up advice and home exercises after initial treatment. I had attended a different practice prior to my visit but unfortunately they concentrated on past history and not the recent injury. I felt relaxed and more comfortable after my first consultation and will definitely be back. Thank you

The Therapy and Fitness Studio is a really lovely space for classes. I’ve attended several of Machelle’s yoga classes here and have come away every time feeling very much rejuvenated, both thanks to the relaxing environment at the studio and to the exceptional standard of Machelle’s teaching. I highly recommend a visit!

I’ve been going to Therapy and Fitness for a while and really like the location, and the easily guided yoga instructor, Machelle. She is very friendly, non judgemental, and embraces every level going into yoga. A great, friendly place to go!

I would recommend the yoga class with Debra on a Wednesday morning. An hour is perfect as, after a quick warm up, you get down to doing a variety of moves. They’re suitable for all abilities .
No, absolutely not. We regularly see clients who come to us as they want to stay pain free and keep their body feeling the best it can. We also help aid performance in athletes and find treatment and improve power, strength and flexibility and get those extra gains.
Your Initial consultation will involve a case history. This is where the therapists asks about the issues you are having and goes through medical history to gain a thorough understanding of your problems. Following this an examination will take place which may involve observation, touch of the joints and muscles and seeing and feeling how areas are moving. From here a diagnosis will be reached and further treatment discussed.
The techniques used will depend on the diagnosis, severity of the problem, the state of the muscle and connective tissue stretching and massage, joint articulations and traction. Manipulation or high velocity thrust techniques which sometimes produce a ‘click’ are used to improve the movement at a joint that is restricted. The Osteopath may also include gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy particularly when treating children or elderly patients.
